FAMOUS LOVE STORIES: WebQuest and PowerPoint Presentation

BEST LOVE STORIES

    1.       You are going to work in groups of 4 or 5 people.

    2.       Click on the following link and choose one couple for your research. Nobody else  can research the same story in any of the two groups of bachillerato. Therefore, each group will investigate about one story which nobody else will work with. Then, write a comment in this blog entry telling the names of the member of your group and the couple that you are going to investigate.

    3.       Look for specific information in the Internet:

-          Where were they from?
-          When did the story take place?
-          Who were they? What did they do? Who was their family?
-          Is it a real story or not?
-          How did their story start?
-          How did their story develop?
-          Did they have a happy ending? Why?
-          Did they have any children?
-          Why is their story famous?
-          Add any other information that you consider relevant to the story.

    4.       Remember: you should follow the order of presentation in point 3 for your presentation in class.

    5.       Elaborate a powerpoint presentation with all the information gathered. Don’t copy and paste a large amount of words! Try to elaborate something nice.

    6.       Present your story to the class ( you can’t read your powerpoint, you have to explain it to the class)

    7.       Be prepared for answering some questions about your investigation.

    8.       The rest of the class must be prepared for taking notes or answering specific questions about what their partners have explained.

    9.       State the bibliography you have consulted for the elaboration of the study. Please, avoid Wikipedia, and use other more trustworthy sources of information such as:
     http://www.britannica.com/
     http://www.oxfordreference.com/

    10.   The presentations will take place  12th February  for both groups of Bachillerato.

                                              Enjoy your research.
