An ancient mummy that was found in Mongolia has gone viral online because it seems to be wearing Adidas boots. Many people have been tweeting that the mummy is proof that time travel exists. The mummy was discovered in the Altai Mountains in a remote part of western Mongolia. Researchers say it is around 1,500 years old. The mummy’s boots look very similar to a pair of snowboarding boots made by the sportswear company Adidas. The mummy's boots have the same three stripes that Adidas is famous for putting on all its footwear. A picture of the boots has gone viral and people are saying the mummy is actually a modern human who travelled back in time.
The mummy's grave was first found in 2010 by local farmers. Last October, archaeologists started digging deeper as they thought the site contained many important things. Earlier this month, the archaeologists found horse's saddles, clay vases, wooden bowls, and metal kettles. The archaeologists said the site was the first complete Turkic burial ground found in Central Asia. The first Turkic people started living in a region between Central Asia and Siberia around 2,600 years ago. They had their own language, including a unique alphabet. Wolves and the colour blue were very important in their culture. Some historians say the word 'turquoise' comes from the word 'Turkish'.

I can think more Explanations for this, one of them is the mummy only wore sandals, but is like adidas shoes and his design of 3 stripes in the side of the footwear. Other explanation is that the group of people who discover this, can put the shoes in the tomb to became famous. I don't think that the mummy wore an adidas shoes and come of the future by magic or a travel in the time.

On the one hand I think someone put the mummy shoes to tell his colleagues and then laugh when they saw the news, on the other hand the mummy could be made and invented this kind of shoes.

I think that it is not any more than a coincidence. It can be that in a past, there were companies of clothes that realized similar footwear to of now and that because of it the people think that it is equal.

ReplyDeleteI think that it is an exaggeration because the time travel doesn't exist. In my opinion, it is a confusion, the mummy boots are sandals but made with lots of strips that wrap the feet.

A possibility would be that in the past there were living civilizations more advanced that ours, but something destroyed them and we had to begin again, in addition probably it is an advanced design of our current slippers, and they coincide accidentally. This is only a possibility, there might be other explanations for this.

ReplyDeleteNow that I have seen the photo I don't believe that the mummy is a proof of time travels but only an advertising strategy of the known sports brand. I think that if to any archaeological discovery with three stripes we attribute it to Adidas, the ancient world would be full of trips in the time.

DeleteA hypothesis about this discovery it may be that someone at that time decided to make three lines to his shoes simply as decoration or to differentiate them from his brothers. Because a person traveling to the past it seems to me unlikely.

From my point of view, I think that a group of teenagers accidentally found the mummy and just to make a joke, they made him wear adidas shoes.

From my point of view I don't believe that this history is real,I though if this way it is, I think that someone has had to of putting the boots in her and it of the time travel has never existed.

ReplyDeleteTherefore, I think it was coincidence or some assembly, which is improbable. Because the deposits are usually protected and supervised by archeologists. Perhaps the Adidas brand has been inspired by old sneakers to make their logo.

In my opinion,this idea is too absurd. I can see two possible hypothesis. The first one is that discovery has been caused by local people. On the oder hand, it is possible that some older company produced shoes as similar as Adidas trainers, but they weren't the authentic ones.
